The magician shows both sides of a small paddle which has three narrow holes. Now he pushes a toothpick through the middle hole. Then he makes a magical gesture and the toothpick will go into the lower hole. He shows both sides and the toothpick is found in the lower hole. He changes the toothpick from the lower hole to the middle hole. Again he makes a magical gesture and the toothpick is found in the upper hole!
